What led you to Sendero?
I was referred to Sendero by a close family friend who works with one of Sendero’s largest clients. Given his firsthand experience and familiarity with my background, his recommendation carried significant weight and immediately stood out as a trusted endorsement.
What stands out to you about Sendero?
Having worked in both corporate and consulting environments, I can confidently say that Sendero’s culture is top-notch! Team members at all levels are highly collaborative—ready to share insights and step in to help if needed. That openness, paired with a strong commitment to client success, is both refreshing and impactful.
What has been your favorite part about being a consultant?
My favorite part of consulting is partnering with clients to solve complex problems, whether addressing known challenges or uncovering new ones along the way. Being trusted as a strategic partner and contributing meaningful solutions is incredibly rewarding.
What industries have you worked in?
Since joining Sendero, I have worked within the technology data center industry, supporting teams in the development and implementation of business systems used to manage operational processes.
Most successful projects are the result of exceptional teamwork. How has your time at Sendero shaped the way you approach being a team member and leader?
My experience at Sendero has reinforced the importance of engaging the right expertise at the right time. Rather than overstaffing during high-pressure moments, Sendero emphasizes a tactical approach, ensuring that the most appropriate resources are involved to drive effective, high-quality outcomes. That mindset has strongly influenced how I approach teamwork and leadership.
What has your experience been with our company culture?
I have come to value the way Sendero intentionally cultivates its culture by embracing diverse perspectives, including those of early‑career consultants. The firm’s commitment to recruiting top talent from respected universities has created a dynamic environment, and I’ve enjoyed collaborating with Associates and Analysts who bring fresh insights and new ways of thinking.
What Sendero resources or programs have had the most impact on your career growth?
Sendero offers several impactful development resources, including the mentorship program, training modules, and advisory positions for Community Rocks, a pro bono consulting program established to support the community’s nonprofit organizations. The mentorship program has been especially meaningful to me. As a mentee, it helped me quickly secure my first client engagement, and as a mentor, I’ve found it highly rewarding to support and guide other team members throughout their growth.
What are you looking forward to in the next year?
I’m looking forward to taking on new challenges, solving increasingly complex problems, and collaborating with team members I haven’t yet had the opportunity to work with.
If you could give one piece of advice to someone interested in becoming a consultant, what would it be?
Stay curious and don’t hesitate to ask thoughtful, challenging questions. Oftentimes, those questions uncover insights others are already wondering about or haven’t yet considered.
