Sendero honored with Mental Health America of Greater Dallas’ Prism Award

DALLAS, TX – Sendero, a management consulting firm with expertise delivering strategic planning, technology enablement, and organizational effectiveness solutions, was recently recognized by Mental Health America (MHA) of Greater Dallas with the 2019 Prism Award.

For over 20 years, MHA of Greater Dallas has presented Prism awards to individuals and organizations who have worked to improve mental health in the Greater Dallas community.

“We are honored to receive MHA’s Prism Award this year,” said Sendero’s COO, Ruth Farrar. “We are proud to support our employees and the nonprofits they are passionate about and grateful that we are able to give back to such a worthy organization and cause.”

MHA recognized Sendero with the Media Prism Award, honoring contributions of a recent pro-bono consulting project that was completed through Sendero’s “Community Rock” program. This project provided recommendations on the organization’s marketing and branding strategies to increase the reach of the MHA brand across the Greater Dallas region. Over the course of 6 months, 145 pro bono hours were dedicated to this project.

The Community Rock program was created in 2017 by Sendero Cares, the philanthropic arm of Sendero, as a way for the firm and employees to support the local communities’ nonprofits through pro bono projects. Sendero employees partner with nonprofits to complete a pro bono project on a variety of initiatives, such as developing technology strategies and creating organizational roadmaps.  Since the program’s inception in 2017, Sendero has completed 29 projects for 21 unique nonprofit organizations in the Dallas and Houston communities.
