Employee Spotlight: Danielle Neitsch

Most successful projects are the result of exceptional teamwork. How has your time at Sendero shaped the way you approach being a team member and leader?

I’ve learned that the most successful leaders are exceptional listeners. By engaging with leaders who encourage open communication, I’ve experienced significant professional and personal growth. As a consultant, being a team player involves leading with humility, supporting others’ ideas, and ensuring conversations remain focused on key topics.

What has your experience been with our company culture?

This is a high-EQ firm that values inclusivity for everyone. I have never encountered or heard of any instances of unfair treatment, either personally or professionally.

What Sendero resources or programs have had the most impact on your career growth?

Serving as a Baylor University recruitment ambassador has been instrumental in my career growth, allowing me to develop a wide array of skills. In this role, I’ve been responsible for recruiting students, connecting with alumni, and building relationships with professors to enhance Sendero’s presence at Baylor. This has involved one-on-one interactions through meetings, Teams chats, and phone calls, creating valuable alliances. I’ve taken a leadership role in establishing connections and participating in various groups, hosting events, and presenting at information sessions.

What are you looking forward to in the next year, both professionally and personally?

Professionally, I’m excited to continue working with my current client, learning more about Sendero’s other key industries, and contributing to a pro-bono project for a local non-profit. Personally, I look forward to diving into some new book series, inspired by the great recommendations from fellow book enthusiasts at Sendero.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone interested in becoming a consultant, what would it be?

Identify your passions. What truly makes you come alive? If consulting aligns with that passion, I encourage you to connect with the industry as soon as possible. Both the world and Sendero benefit from individuals who are fully engaged and passionate about their work.
