MEET THE TEAM
As Chief Executive Officer and Founding Partner for Sendero, Bret’s top priority is building a world-class organization respected for its people, culture, and results. He believes long-term client relationships are fostered through innovative and workable solutions, an ability to assemble an outstanding team, and exceptional delivery on commitments. Bret founded Sendero in 2004 with the vision of the company to be the destination career for its people, the partner of choice for its clients, and a steward of the community.
With more than 25 years of experience in management consulting and IT, Bret has worked in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, mining, energy, transportation, utilities, health care, real estate and retail. His strength lies in his ability to bridge the two worlds of business strategy and technology, and find ways that each can leverage the other to provide the greatest benefit. In addition to helping clients sharpen their strategic visions, he has helped them explore innovative ways to use technology to achieve their strategic and operational goals.
Bret earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He speaks regularly on various topics, including the power of positive corporate culture. He is married with four children, is an avid soccer player, and coaches his children’s soccer teams.
As co-Founding Partner and Chief Operations Officer of Sendero, Ruth’s primary responsibilities include strategic planning, direction of internal operations, and firm-wide communication. Under her leadership, the core functions of Talent Management, Accounting and Finance, and Marketing work in synergy with the Consulting organization to build this world-class company. Ruth consistently promotes a vision of operational excellence, and is a vocal and passionate champion of employee engagement.
Ruth started her career with a large, international management consulting firm and has over 20 years of consulting and operations experience in various industries. =She specialized in Organizational Change Management and brings that experience to bear on a daily basis as Sendero grows. She was recently honored with the Dallas Business Journal’s “Women in Business” award, and plays an active role supporting the Dallas-based Admin Awards.
Ruth graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She is a member of Texas Diversity Council’s Advisory Board and Fordham University’s Parents’ Leadership Council. She is also an active board member of Chase’s Place, a private, non-profit school for children with complex special needs. She is a novice yogi and an avid fan of musical theater. Ruth married the love of her life and is the proud mother of four wonderful children.
As a Senior Partner at Sendero, Scott supports the strategic planning and business development efforts of the firm. He is a strategic advisor and leader focused on guiding and delivering value for many of Sendero’s client relationships. Scott has over 25 years of experience leading management consulting engagements in a variety of industries and brings expertise in information management and analytics, digital transformation, strategic planning, systems development, and enterprise architecture.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Financial Services from Baylor University. He also earned a Masters of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Management Information Systems from the University of Dallas. Scott is married and has two daughters. His passions outside the office include the never-ending quest to perfect his fly-fishing skills, and participating in triathlons and other athletic endeavors. He currently is serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Camp John Marc, a special camp for children with chronic illnesses or physical disabilities that serves the North Texas community.
Dave is a Senior Partner with Sendero. He has gained extensive experience in management consulting across multiple industries, and has utilized his strategic planning expertise by helping executives build their organizations, design their processes, and develop technology plans to enable their business strategies. His blend of consulting and industry leadership experience equips him with the valuable perspective required to help executives best structure their organizations and processes to enable true alignment and effective delivery of large and complex change initiatives.
Prior to joining Sendero in 2007, Dave was a consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Tactica Technology Group (now Hitachi Consulting), and provided senior operational leadership to organizations in the energy and healthcare industries. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. Dave is married with two sons, and his passions include coaching his kids’ soccer teams, great food and wine, and seeing (if not changing) the world. Dave also serves as an active board member of The Family Place, a leader in the work to stop family violence.
Wayne is a Partner with Sendero. His 17-year career includes substantial experience in global strategic sourcing, procurement, outsourcing, technology strategy, technology assessment & implementation, business process transformation, and business analysis. He has successfully delivered several consulting engagements for energy and government clients, primarily involving large outsourcing initiatives with offshore components, technology implementations, and technology migrations.
Before joining Sendero, Wayne led the IT Procurement group at Dr Pepper Snapple and headed one of the Global IT Procurement groups at Cadbury, where he had project and operational responsibilities. He also served as a technology strategist at TXU and a business analyst at Citibank. He started his career as a consultant with American Management Systems.
Wayne earned an MBA and an M.S. in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a B.S. in Computer Science from Brown University. He is married with two children, and enjoys playing, coaching, and watching sports.
A Principal at Sendero, Kyle has over 23 years of management consulting and IT operations experience spanning the healthcare, utility, telecommunications, manufacturing, and real estate industries. He strives to help his clients unleash IT potential by focusing an organization’s technical talents on items that differentiate the business and provide a competitive advantage. His goals include aligning IT and business objectives and reducing IT’s focus on commoditized needs.
Prior to joining Sendero, Kyle gained valuable experience at Ernst & Young, CSC Consulting, and TXU Energy. In these positions, he honed his craft in technical architecture, application architecture, disaster recovery design and implementation, and program and project management.
Kyle earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design and an MBA from Texas A&M University. He is married with two daughters and spends most of his free time operating his cattle ranch.
A Principal with Sendero, Jeff has over 15 years of management consulting experience across multiple industries, including retail, manufacturing, fast casual restaurants, oil & gas, retail electric services, consumer packaged goods, high tech, and healthcare. He has served in leadership roles on many engagements centered on mergers and acquisitions, business and IT process strategy and design, organization analysis and design, organizational change management, the development and implementation of small and large packaged solutions, contract advisory services, methodology development, system development lifecycle, and system integration.
Before joining Sendero, Jeff was a consultant with Arthur Andersen and Hitachi Consulting providing leadership and process improvement experience in areas such as IT, procurement, inventory management, warehouse management, sales and transportation management. He also served in key leadership roles on many SAP implementations and deployments.
Jeff earned a BBA in Information and Operations Management (with an MIS track) from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. He is married with three sons. His passions include coaching his kids, playing and watching sports, great music, cooking and fine wine.
A Principal at Sendero, Eric has over 14 years experience in management consulting including project management and solution delivery in the supply chain management sector. His projects include managing teams of up to 30 people with project budgets of up to $6.7 million while delivering and implementing more than 11 full life cycle global ERP/SAP implementations. Eric’s area of focus and interests also includes Big Data, Hadoop, Culture Transformation, and Innovation for his clients.
Prior to joining Sendero, Eric spent 11 and a half years at Accenture serving in leadership roles on large, international clients including the deployment activities of an Oracle to SAP ERP implementation for a notable Information and Data Storage company, affecting 8000+ users in 69 countries.
Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Oklahoma State University. He and his wife enjoy traveling, golf, singing, and spending quality time with friends and family. Eric enjoys singing and is a current member of Schola Cantorum of Texas; a Fort Worth-based community choir providing choral music excellence for over 50 years. As well, he is an active board member for Chase’s Place, a private, non-profit school for children with special needs.
A Principal at Sendero, Susanne has over 14 years of management consulting and IT operations experience across utilities, oil & gas, commercial real estate services, and chemical industries. She has been instrumental in creating positive outcomes for her clients in roles that span program and project management, infrastructure and technical architecture, business operations, and portfolio management.
Prior to joining Sendero, Susanne gained valuable experience at TXU Corp, Capgemini Energy, and Alliance Data. In these positions, she developed strong technical and business acumen through the implementation and support of complex systems and infrastructure for a variety of businesses.
Susanne earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Oklahoma. While attending OU, she met her husband of nearly 14 years. Her passions outside of work include waterskiing, cooking, yoga, and keeping up with her two young sons.
As Senior Director of Talent Management at Sendero, Melody brings over 25 years of experience spanning consulting, IT, and multiple industries. Melody leads Sendero’s people-related strategic initiatives, and provides leadership of all Talent Management functions.
Prior to joining Sendero, Melody gained extensive experience in technology operations, systems development, process analysis and design, and account management in consulting and industry roles. She joined Sendero in 2008 as a consultant before transitioning into her current operations role.
Melody earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. While attending SMU, she met her husband of over 20 years. Her passions include cheering on the SMU Mustangs, watching sports, reading, and spending time with her son.
As Senior Director of Accounting and Finance at Sendero, Christi’s primary responsibility is to provide financial results and reporting to support the company’s business.
Christi has over 25 years of experience specializing in Accounting, Finance, and SOX compliance. Prior to joining Sendero, she gained valuable experience through roles at a government service provider, business process outsourcer, and in the healthcare industry.
Christi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Information Systems from Baylor University. Her passions outside of work include reading, spending time with her family, supporting child-related charities and serving on her local PTA board.
