The core purpose of our business is to bring improvement to the lives of others. That’s what we do for our clients. But our commitment to improvement doesn’t end there. Our employees are dedicated to improving the communities in which we work and live. Over the years, we’ve found the greatest change comes when you find causes that appeal to employees on a personal level. Because in charity, as in work, passion makes a difference.

Chase’s Place School opened its doors in 2003 as one of the first schools of its kind in the DFW area. It serves students ages 5-14 with disabilities including mental retardation, PDD/autism, Down Syndrome, acquired brain injuries, and neurological disorders. Chase’s Place has a built-in curriculum that includes daily living skills, community training, speech, occupational, physical, and music therapy, as well as traditional academic subjects like reading and math. Unlike other schools catering to this population, Chase’s Place boasts a 1:2 staff/student ratio, giving each student an optimal amount of individual attention.

Funds from these events support the maintenance and improvement of the gardens, which are available to the public year-round.
Sendero sponsored the annual Hoedown event, which has funded improvements such as the commercial kitchen in the Resource Center, A/V equipment for the popular cooking classes, tenting, signage, educational conferences for the market staff and a myriad of improvements that made the Dallas Farmers Market the undisputed “Queen Mum” of all Texas farmers markets.
Entrepreneurs For North Texas is a program of Communities Foundation of Texas which facilitates community involvement and philanthropy for small and mid-size companies that want to make a beneficial impact in their communities in a way that’s good for their business.

Each year, Sendero sponsors a team in this event that honors cancer survivors and remembers lost loved ones. This event also raises money to support the American Cancer Society’s research to fight back against cancer, as well as programs such as Locks of Love and Look Good Feel Better.
